Team Structure    

  • Tacita Wallace (Centre Manager) - 10 yrs experience within the leisure industry, working through the ranks - sports coach, recreation assistant, duty officer and now centre manager
  • Mohamud Buraleh (Duty Manager & Swimming Instructor) - with a leisure and fitness industry background of 9 years working as Duty Manager, Function's Duty Manager, Reception, Recreation Assistant, Swimming Instructor
  • Kane Copping (Duty Manager) - Worked at David Lloyds Leisure for nearly 3 Years as a members assistant, where I also taught football frenzy for kids between 7 and 12 years of age. I also was Bar/ Party/ Inflatable supervisor at The Partyman Company. Worked as a Duty Manager for Creating Leisure for 2 Years which was a Wet side facility where I gained my NPLQ Qualification and my Level 3 Pool Plant Operators before moving to Academy sport to further my Leisure experience in a Dry side facility.
  • Alexandra Sabanov, Howard Moore, Dwayne Dawkins & Vincent Griffiths-Williams (Recreation Assistants) - varied leisure experience or interest, whether having previous experience in the leisure industry or studying leisure
  • Natasha Nelson and Eleanor Walling (Sport Receptionist)
  • Sports Coaches - Qualified in many sports. We cater for activities such as football, basketball, table tennis, archery etc.


Associates  

Westminster City Council is our main associate due to the considerable amount of funding they have put towards the development of ACADEMY SPORT. This is the only sports facility of its kind but Westminster City Council also has other sites;
