Tacita Wallace
Centre Manager

I have been at Academy Sport since November 2007, when the doors first opened to the community of Westbourne Park. During this time i have built an excellent rapport with the clientele; local community residents, community clubs/organisations who all use the centre to its fullest.
Prior to that i spent 13yrs working for Moberly Sports & Education Centre.  I worked through the ranks; varying from sports coach, Recreation Assistant & then Duty Manager.
Although it has been 3yrs, i am looking forward to the challenge which lies ahead.  Working closely with my team at Academy Sport, Westminster City Council and the local community. If you have a query and would like to contact me, then please do so on twallace@westminsteracademy.biz

Jamie Armstrong
Duty Manager

At a young age i started work in a multi-use sports centre in Gloucestershire, as a lifeguard and in time i was promoted to Duty Manager. I left the sports centre to continue my studies at Liverpool John Moore's University, studying Sports Development with PE. This led me into the path of sports coaching, giving me the opportunity to work alongside some great coaches in both America and the UK. Originally from the Cotswolds i came down to London to work for a Sports Development company as a multi sports coach, working in primary schools across London delivering high quality physical education lessons. After two years in this role the opportunity to return to the leisure industry was too big a pull and since January 2011, i have been Duty Manager at Academy Sport.

Annie Fleming
Duty Manager

I have lifetime experience of sport and leisure. From an early age i was involved in a wide range of sports such as athletics, football, weight training and dance. I started off as a fitness instructor/class instructor in 1999 and progressed onto personal training in 2002, where i successfully trained and motivated clients. In 2005 i decided to move into management and have been a Duty Manager ever since, working in both fast paced busy environments as well as smaller intimate surroundings.

My previous experience as always steered in the direction of administration, where i have been a supervisor for Mitie and an office manager within an international corporation.  When the opportunity arose at Academy Sport, i was extremely keen as i used to compete in Athletics.
